Realistic Shot for Shot

Recreate shot-by-shot the classic "axe-splitting door" scene from the film The Shining, maintaining consistency with the original in shot angle, framing, rhythm, and style. Realistic cinematic style. Shot 1 | 4s View from inside the room | Fear in the corner Reference images: @Fig 2 @Fig 3 Shot size: Medium close-up Camera position: Inside the room, close to the interior wall Composition and direction (critical): Camera frames the character crouching in the corner of the room. Character is positioned slightly right of center. White wooden hotel door is on the left side of the frame, visible in profile, not facing the camera directly. Content: Fire axe chops into the frame from outside the left side. Axe blade enters horizontally from the left; wood splinters fly toward the center. Performance: Character huddles in the corner, back pressed against the wall, eyes fixed on the door. At the moment the axe breaks through, expression shows extreme terror, silent crying, body recoils instinctively. Line: (Extremely terrified, as in @Fig 2 and @Fig 3) no…please, no....no! Camera movement: Static shot Constraint: Camera focus remains on the character inside the room at all times. Shot 2 | 3s Hallway outside the door | Handheld side shot of axe splitting door Reference image: @Fig 1 Shot size: Medium shot Camera position: In the hallway outside, to the character’s right Angle: Side view, showing the character’s body and the fire axe Camera movement (core): Handheld, tracking the movement of the axe head Visual performance: Axe naturally enters and exits the frame during swings, sometimes near the edge of the frame. Content: Subject repeatedly and forcefully chops the white wooden hotel door. Door panel gradually breaks apart. Character state: Actions are rough, continuous, and increasingly out of control. Shot 3 | 3s Close-up of door crack | Maniacal face reveal Reference image: @Fig 1 Shot size: Close-up Camera position and angle: Camera directly facing the cracked door gap Content: Door is split open to form a narrow gap. Subject’s face slowly emerges from the gap. Performance: Cold, maniacal smile; eyes staring directly into the camera. Line: (Whispered) “Here is...” On “Johnny”, voice rises sharply with eerie excitement. Upon seeing this, @Fig 2 looks terrified and slaps @Fig 1’s head back out of the gap. Global Settings White wooden hotel door Calm, oppressive, realistic cinematic texture No excessive environmental stylization Performance, composition, and rhythm strictly reference only the original The Shining
