Promptant helps users collect and organize prompts, images, videos, and related page content from web pages. This policy explains what data the extension processes and how that data is handled.

Summary: Promptant stores saved content locally in the user's browser. Promptant does not sell user data, does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and does not upload saved content to third-party servers.

Data Processed

Promptant only processes website content when the user actively collects or inspects content on the current page. This may include selected text, images, videos, links, source page information, and page element information.

Promptant does not collect personal identity information, health information, financial or payment information, authentication information, personal communications, precise location, browsing history, or background user activity.

Local Storage

Saved items are stored locally in the user's browser using browser extension storage and local browser storage. This includes saved prompts, image references, video references, folders, tags, and extension preferences.

Data Sharing

Promptant does not sell, share, rent, or transfer user data to third parties. Saved content is not uploaded to our servers.

Permissions

Remote Code

Promptant does not use remote code. The extension's code is included in the extension package.

User Control

Users can delete saved items in Promptant, remove the extension from the browser, or clear extension data through browser settings.
